Paris: Deputy Minister of Research, Innovation and Digital Policy, Nikodemos Damianou, is on a working visit to Paris, focusing on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and digital innovation. His visit includes participation in a ministerial roundtable discussion during the 2026 AI Day, which addresses AI policies, applications, and challenges at both European and international levels.
According to Cyprus News Agency, Damianou will engage in a bilateral meeting with French Minister for Artificial Intelligence and Digital Affairs, Anne Le H©nanff. The meeting aims to facilitate the exchange of views and explore cooperation opportunities in AI, digital policy, and innovation.
In addition to the meetings, Damianou is attending the inauguration of exhibitions at the National Library of France and the Louvre Museum. These events highlight the integration of technology and innovation with cultural initiatives.
This visit is part of ongoing efforts to enhance the country's international stature in AI and foster partnerships with key strategic partners. Damianou is scheduled to return home on February 11.
