Agios ambrosios: President of the Republic Nikos Christodoulides rushed on Wednesday evening to the crisis center set up in Agios Ambrosios, Limassol, to be informed on site about the firefighting efforts to tackle the wildfires that rage since this afternoon in the districts of Limassol and Pafos. The President is accompanied by Government Spokesperson, Konstantinos Letymbiotis.
According to Cyprus News Agency, Minister of Justice and Public Order, Marios Hartsiotis, and Minister of Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment, Maria Panayiotou, are also at the site, as are Members of Parliament from Limassol and AKEL Secretary General Stephanos Stephanou.
