Nicosia: President Nikos Christodoulides is in Athens for a one-day visit to participate in a series of pre-arranged events.
According to Cyprus News Agency, the President’s itinerary includes visits to several key locations and meetings with notable figures.
President Christodoulides is scheduled to arrive in Athens on Wednesday afternoon. His first stop will be at the facilities of the University of Nicosia. Following this, he will proceed to the National Technical University of Athens, where he is set to meet with the Dean of the School of Fine Arts.
Later in the day, President Christodoulides will attend an event at the Embassy of the Republic in Athens. During this event, he will deliver a speech honoring George Georgis, an academic and former Ambassador of the Republic.
The President will be accompanied by Deputy Minister to the President Irene Piki, Deputy Minister of Culture Vasiliki Kassianidou, Deputy Government Spokesperson Yiannis Antoniou, and other officials. He is expected to return to Cyprus in the evening.
