Nicosia: The Cyprus News Agency is recognized as a valuable and constant source of information for the Greek Embassy, according to Greek Ambassador to Cyprus, Konstantinos Kollias, who made a visit to the agency’s offices.
According to Cyprus News Agency, during his visit, Ambassador Kollias met with the Chairman of the CNA Board of Directors, Andreas Frangos, and the agency’s Director, Dinos Phinicarides. The meeting highlighted the role and importance of CNA’s mission in providing reliable information amidst widespread misinformation.
Frangos expressed the agency’s commitment to further strengthening cooperation with the Greek Embassy, emphasizing the crucial role CNA plays in delivering accurate news. He also thanked Ambassador Kollias for acknowledging the agency’s efforts and for visiting with the Embassy’s General Communications Counsellor, Ms. Kapagianni.
Ambassador Kollias praised CNA’s active journalism and comprehensive news coverage, reaffirming the Greek Embassy’s reliance on CNA as a trusted partner. He expressed a desire to continue and enhance this partnership, which he sees as part of the broader excellent cooperation between Greece and Cyprus in the field of information.
The cooperation cornerstone, as noted by Kollias, includes the collaboration between CNA and the Athens-Macedonian News Agency. He emphasized the importance of this partnership, stating that the Greek Embassy in Nicosia considers CNA an indispensable partner.
