President Christodoulides Engages in Talks with EU Leaders on Regional Developments

Nicosia: Cyprus President, Nikos Christodoulides, had telephone conversations on Saturday evening with the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, and the Greek Prime Minister, Kyriakos Mitsotakis, concerning the latest developments in the region.

According to Cyprus News Agency, Christodoulides shared on X that his discussion with von der Leyen addressed the deeply concerning evolving regional developments. He emphasized Cyprus's commitment to working closely with EU and regional partners to ensure regional stability and security.

Government Spokesman, Konstantinos Letymbiotis, also shared on X that President Christodoulides engaged in a telephone conversation with the Greek Premier. During their exchange, they discussed views on regional developments. Letymbiotis highlighted that the Republic of Cyprus is maintaining constant coordination with the EU and regional partners to safeguard stability and security in the broader region.
