President Christodoulides Arrives at CMP Lab for Joint Visit with Erhurman

Nicosia: President Nikos Christodoulides and Turkish Cypriot leader Tufan Erhrman arrived at the Committee on Missing Persons' (CMP) anthropology laboratory, on Tuesday afternoon, for a joint visit. Erhrman was the first to arrive at the old Nicosia Airport premises in the buffer zone at around 15.15, with President Christodoulides following a few minutes later.

According to Cyprus News Agency, the two leaders were received by members of the laboratory's staff, UN Secretary-General Personal Envoy Mar­angela Holgu­n, and UN Secretary-General Special Representative in Cyprus, Khassim Diagne. After their visit to the lab, the two leaders are expected to proceed to the UN Good Offices headquarters for a joint meeting with Holgu­n at 16.00. Later in the evening, they are scheduled to attend a reception hosted at the residence of the Special Representative.
