The Cyprus Police and the Social Welfare Services on Monday signed a Memorandum of Cooperation for the handling and protection of possible recognised victims of human trafficking, a move the two services said sends out a strong message for zero tolerance to this serious form of crime.
The Memorandum was signed by Minister of Justice and Public Order, Stephie Dracos, and Deputy Minister of Social Welfare, Anastasia Anthousi.
According to a joint announcement, the Memorandum promotes the cooperation of the two Services.
