According to Cyprus News Agency, Paphos FC claimed a 2-0 home win over Omonia Aradippou, moving up to second place with 37 points, just two points behind leaders Omonia. Paphos also have a game in hand, providing them with an opportunity to potentially overtake the league leaders.
Krasava Ypsonas also celebrated a home victory, defeating Olympiakos 1-0. This result allowed Ypsonas to draw level on points with Ethnikos Achnas in 12th place and reduce the gap from Anorthosis, Omonia Aradippou, and Olympiakos to three points.
Other results from Matchday 17 include AEL losing to Omonia 0-2, APOEL defeating Akritas Chlorakas 2-1, Aris winning against AEK 1-0, Anorthosis edging out Ethnikos Achnas 1-0, ENP falling to Apollon 0-1, Paphos FC beating Omonia Aradippou 2-0, and Krasava Ypsonas overcoming Olympiakos 1-0.
