Paphos and Aris Maintain Top Positions in Cyprus League After Match Day 20

Paphos: The situation as regards the first two places of the Cyprus League by Stoiximan remains unchanged after the completion of the Match Day 20. Paphos and Aris achieved victories over Karmiotissa and Ethnikos Achnas, respectively, while the 3rd in the standings, AEK, lost ground after the draw with Anorthosis.

According to Cyprus News Agency, AEK remained 8 points behind Paphos and 6 points behind Aris, while Omonia, which won away against Paralimni, reduced the difference from AEK to two points. At the same time, APOEL defeated Omonia Aradippou with 7-0 and is now 4 points behind Omonia and 14 from the first place.

After their defeat by Omonoia 29M and Anorthosis after the draw with AEK, Apollon are now tied in 6th place with 31 points. Results of Match Day 20 include AEL and Nea Salamina drawing 0-0, ENP losing to Omonia 0-2, Omonia 29M defeating Apollon 2-1, Anorthosis drawing with AEK 2-2, APOEL winning against Omonia Aradippou 7-0, Karmiotissa losing to Pafos 0-2, and Aris prevailing over Ethnikos Achnas 6-1.

The current standings are Pafos leading with 49 points, followed by Aris with 47 points, AEK with 41 points, and Omonia with 39 points. APOEL is in fifth with 35 points, Apollon and Anorthosis are tied in sixth with 31 points each. Ethnikos has 23 points, followed by AEL with 21 points, Karmiotissa with 20 points, Nea Salamina and ENP both with 12 points, and Omonia 29M with 10 points.
