Pandemic, CAP, Belarus on the European Parliament’s agenda

The COVID-19 pandemic and how to deal with it, the agreement achieved on the Common Agricultural Policy and the situation on the EU – Belarus border are some of the issues discussed this week at the European Parliament’s plenary, in Strasbourg.

The plenary started its work on Monday evening under the chairmanship of its President David Sassoli.

As European Parliament Spokesperson Jaume Duch Guillot said in press conference immediately before the start of the plenary, the procedure is taking place with MEPs being able to take part in the debate and vote remotely, due to the pandemic.
