Paphos: Pafos FC was the team that benefited the most after the results of Match Day 22 of the Cyprus League By Stoiximan. The team of Paphos beat Omonia Aradippou with 2-0, and in combination of yesterday’s draw between Aris and AEK, took a 6-point lead at the top of the standings.
According to Cyprus News Agency, the results of Match Day 22 were as follows: Omonia 29M lost to Omonia Nicosia with a score of 2-3, APOEL and Apollon ended in a draw with 0-0, Omonia Aradippou was defeated by Pafos FC 0-2, AEL lost to Anorthosis 0-1, Karmiotissa Polemidion and Ethnikos Achnas finished with a 0-0 draw, Paralimni won against Nea Salamina 2-0, and Aris drew with AEK 1-1.
The current standings after these matches show Pafos leading with 55 points, followed by Aris with 49, Omonia and AEK both with 45, APOEL with 37, Apollon and Anorthosis each with 35, Ethnikos with 24, AEL and Karmiotissa both with 21, Omonia Aradippou with 19, Paralimni with 18, Nea Salamina with 13, and Omonia 29M with 10.
