Over 300 Kilos of Cannabis and 80 Kilos of Cocaine Seized in Anti-Drug Operations

Nicosia: Since the beginning of the year, 323 kilograms of cannabis and 81 kilograms of cocaine have been seized by the Anti-Drug Service, according to the Police.

According to Cyprus News Agency, a Police press release indicates that the actions of the Anti-Drug Service are ongoing with intensity and focus. The goal is to identify and seize narcotics and to arrest individuals involved in the possession and trafficking of these substances.

The report details that from January 1, 2026, until today, the Anti-Drug Service has identified and seized a total of 323 kilograms of cannabis and cannabis resin, in addition to 81 kilograms of cocaine.

These significant quantities, alongside continuous operations, investigations, and arrests, highlight the persistent and decisive measures taken by the Anti-Drug Service. The efforts aim to combat the trafficking of narcotics and protect society from the repercussions associated with drug use and distribution.
