Nicosia: The Department of Meteorology announced on Tuesday an orange warning for an extremely high temperature expected on Wednesday, July 22nd. The warning indicates that inland temperatures will rise significantly, reaching around 43 degrees Celsius.
According to Cyprus News Agency, the temperature in the higher mountainous regions is anticipated to be around 32 degrees Celsius. The warning will be active between 12 p.m. and 5 p.m. local time on Wednesday. Residents and visitors are advised to take necessary precautions during this period to avoid heat-related health issues.
