Cyprus House President, Annita Demetriou, had a meeting on Wednesday with EU member states Ambassadors in Cyprus, during which they discussed about the coordination among EU member states to address the repercussions of the war in Ukraine.
In statements to CNA after the meeting, Demetriou underlined that “we believe in diplomacy and peace”, adding that “war and the use of force can never be the answer. We, as the Republic of Cyprus, understand better what is going on, and this is why we are among those leading efforts on these issues, and at the same time we have underlined that there must be no double standards in such cases,” she added.
