Green Agenda Summit kicks off on Monday morning in Nicosia with renowned speakers from the international community and panel discussions on hot issues such as renewable energy sources, sustainable development and sustainability.
A press release said that EU Commissioner for Climate Wopke Hoekstra and EU Commissioner for Health and Food Quality, Stella Kyriakides will address the Summit, taking place under the auspices of Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment Ministry.
Governmental officials will deliver speeches and will present the strategies on green transition.
The conference will be attended by the leaders of the country’s business community, and there will be speeches from leading international speakers as well.
Discussions and presentations will focus on climate change risks and their impact on human life, banking, industry, real estate and insurance, renewable energy, financing the green transition, sustainability and development of the food production chain and waste management.
