Cyprus received the new Novavax protein vaccine on Tuesday, Dr Elena Panagiotopoulou, Deputy Director of Pharmaceutical Services of Cyprus` Health Ministry told the Cyprus News Agency, adding that vaccinations will begin in the next few days.
Panagiotopoulou said that Cyprus received 15 thousand doses of the Nuvaxovid vaccine. She also said that the Health Ministry will announce tomorrow when exactly the vaccinations will begin as well as when the vaccine will be available at vaccination centres.
