More relaxations in next ten days if hospitalisations remain stable, Health Minister says

Cyprus Health Minister Michalis Hadjipantela said on Friday that while new COVID-19 cases have increased, hospitalisations have remained stable, adding that if the continue to be stable there will be more relaxations of measures in the next ten days.

In statements to the press after a parade in Pafos, marking the anniversary of 25th March 1821 which signalled the start of the Greek revolution against the Ottoman Empire, Hadjipantela said that at this point in time one should monitor hospitalisations rather than cases.

If hospitalisations remain stable as they are now then there will be more relaxations of measures in the next ten days, he added.
