Nicosia: Due to the turbulent situation prevailing in the wider Middle East region, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs advises Cypriot citizens in the region to remain vigilant, closely monitor developments and information from international and local media, and take maximum precautions.
According to Cyprus News Agency, the Ministry has also advised Cypriot citizens in the region to register on the online platform for Cypriots abroad, Connect2CY. Additionally, they are encouraged to follow the social media accounts of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and those of the Embassies for updates and important information.
This advisory comes as part of efforts to ensure the safety and well-being of Cypriots residing or traveling in the Middle East, where the situation remains tense. The Ministry emphasizes the importance of staying informed and prepared during these times.
