Nicosia: The Cyprus Department of Meteorology has released a forecast for the sea area surrounding Cyprus, indicating that a seasonal low-pressure system is currently impacting the region. The forecast covers the period from 0600 on August 29, 2025, until 0600 on August 30, 2025, with the atmospheric pressure recorded at 1009 hPa.
According to Cyprus News Agency, the weather in the area is expected to remain mainly fine. However, there will be instances of locally increased low cloud, particularly over the western and northern parts of the region. Despite the presence of these clouds, visibility is anticipated to remain good throughout the forecast period.
The sea surface temperature is projected to be 29°C, offering pleasant conditions for marine activities. Importantly, no weather warnings have been issued for this period, suggesting that there are no significant adverse weather conditions expected to affect the area.
