Nicosia: The Cyprus Department of Meteorology has issued a forecast indicating that the sea area of Cyprus will experience low pressure conditions. The forecast, which covers an area extending 8 kilometers seawards, predicts local showers and isolated thunderstorms in the afternoon, with the possibility of isolated showers or thunderstorms continuing into the evening.
According to Cyprus News Agency, the atmospheric pressure at the time of the forecast issuance was recorded at 1014 hectopascals. Visibility in the area is expected to remain good, although it may drop to moderate or poor during showers. The sea surface temperature is noted to be 21°C. Despite the anticipated weather changes, no warnings have been issued for the period between 1200 on December 21, 2025, and 1200 on December 22, 2025.
