Larnaca: The Cyprus Department of Meteorology has issued a forecast for the sea area surrounding Cyprus, predicting a shift in weather conditions due to low atmospheric pressure. For the period from 1200 on November 3rd to 1200 on November 4th, local residents and maritime operators can expect partly cloudy weather with the potential for local showers and isolated thunderstorms. Hail is anticipated during thunderstorms, while the nighttime and following day are expected to see mainly fine weather with pockets of increased cloud cover and a risk of isolated showers, particularly over coastal regions.
According to Cyprus News Agency, the atmospheric pressure at the time of the forecast issuance was recorded at 1015 hPa (hectopascal). The forecast covers an area extending 8 kilometers seawards from the coast, with wind conditions measured on the Beaufort scale.
