Larnaca: Nineteen special flights are scheduled to be conducted on Sunday to Israel and Jordan from Larnaca Airport to repatriate Israelis, while arrivals and departures to and from Israel are also taking place by vessel from the city’s marina.
According to Cyprus News Agency, three special flights are planned to Tel Aviv, nine to Haifa, six to Aqaba in Jordan, and one to Amman. These flights are authorised by Israeli authorities for the repatriation of their nationals, as the Israeli airspace remains closed due to the situation in the Middle East.
However, the same information noted that following the recent developments in the region, with the U.S. bombing of three Iranian nuclear facilities, the operation of these flights may be reconsidered. Meanwhile, vessel arrivals from Israel to Larnaca marina continued on Saturday, transporting Israelis returning home or traveling to their countries of residence.
