Nicosia: The KIOS Research and Innovation Center of Excellence at the University of Cyprus is set to organize the '2026 KIOS Graduate Training School on AI'. This event is a part of the European MSCA Doctoral Network LEMUR project, which aims to provide innovative training and research opportunities to develop the next generation of AI technologies. The training school will feature lectures on Machine Learning and learning representations, alongside multi-disciplinary sessions on intellectual property rights and research proposal preparation.
According to Cyprus News Agency, the Graduate Training School will be held over three days, from March 3 to March 5, 2026, at the University of Cyprus, specifically in the Engineering Building 10, Amphitheater B102 'Elias Kyriakides'. Notable speakers at this year's event include Professors Gabriella Pasi from the University of Milano-Bicocca, Ioannis Pitas of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, and Axel-Cyrille Ngonga Ngomo from Paderborn University. Other esteemed speakers include Constantine Dovrolis, Sergios Theodoridis, Virginia Dignum, and Theocharis Theocharides, alongside innovation and intellectual property rights experts Dr. Anastasia Constantinou and Dr. Eugene Sweeney.
