Nicosia: Kalia Antoniou won on Tuesday her second gold medal at the Taranto 2026 Mediterranean Games, finishing first in the women's 50m freestyle final in 24.92.
According to Cyprus News Agency, Italy's Elena Capretta took the silver medal in 25.02, while her compatriot Agata Maria Ambler claimed bronze in 25.12. The Cypriot champion has now stood on the top step of the podium twice in two days, following her gold medal in the 100m freestyle on Monday.
