A private jet crashed in the US state of California on Saturday, killing six people on board, according to local media.
The Cessna business jet crashed near the French Valley Airport in the town of Murrieta, the Times of San Diego news website reported, citing officials.
The crash was reported at 4.15 a.m. local time (1115GMT) about 94 kilometers (58 miles) north of San Diego, said the Riverside County Fire Department.
The jet had departed from Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas, the report added.
A subsequent fire that engulfed the aircraft after the crash was later contained, according to local fire department officials.
