Nicosia: The Cyprus Department of Meteorology has issued a forecast for the sea area surrounding Cyprus, predicting weather conditions for the upcoming day. The forecast, which covers an area extending 8 kilometers seawards, highlights the presence of weak low pressure affecting the region.
According to Cyprus News Agency, the forecast indicates increased medium and high cloud cover throughout the day, with the possibility of isolated showers or thunderstorms. These weather events are expected to occur in the morning over the northeastern coast and later in the afternoon over the southern and eastern coasts. Despite these conditions, visibility is expected to remain good, though it may become moderate during showers.
The atmospheric pressure at the time of the forecast issuance was recorded at 1013 hPa, and the sea surface temperature is currently at 25°C. No warnings have been issued as part of this forecast, suggesting that severe weather conditions are not anticipated during the specified period.
