Total assets of investment funds in Cyprus saw a remarkable 16% increase in the third quarter of 2021, compared with the previous quarter, hitting a record high of €8,535.6 mn.
“The number of investment funds increased from 224 in June 2021 to 235 in September 2021, whereas their total assets increased significantly by approximately 16% to €8,535.6 million in September 2021, compared with €7,354.7 million in June 2021”, the Central Bank of Cyprus reported on Tuesday.
The statistics showed that €3.04 bn were invested in equity, €225.4 mn in bonds, €711.4 mn in real estate, €1.30 bn were mixed investments and €3.25 bn in other investments.
