Accompanying him were the Director of the Press and Information Office, Aliki Stylianou, Dr. Loizos Hadjivassiliou, the Director of his Office, and Constantinos Polykarpou, the Consul General of the Republic of Cyprus in Thessaloniki.

According to Cyprus News Agency, the Cyprus delegation was welcomed by Assistant Professor Haris Alexandrou, who provided a tour and detailed the activities of the Chair since its establishment. The Chair aims to enhance the national ties between Cyprus and Greece in academic and cultural domains and to deepen scientific understanding of issues related to the Cyprus issue, history, society, and culture.

Dr. Alexandrou expressed gratitude for the Ministry of Interior's support, particularly highlighting the contribution of nine boxes of Cyprus-related publications to the Chair's library by the PIO Director. The Interior Minister assured continued support, while the PIO Director discussed the potential for organizing annual educational visits to Cyprus for top-performing students.

The delegation also attended a lecture by Demetrios Charalambous from the Pedagogical Department of Primary Education, focusing on the role of education in shaping national consciousness during the British occupation of Cyprus from 1878 to 1960.
