Nicosia: In April 2025, the Industrial Turnover Index recorded an increase of 4.3% compared to the corresponding period of the previous year, according to data published by the Statistical Service on Friday.
According to Cyprus News Agency, in April 2025, the index reached 137.2 units (base 2021=100), marking an increase of 1.6% compared to April 2024. The manufacturing sector saw growth, with the Industrial Turnover Index reaching 142.4 units, which represents an increase of 2.5% from April 2024.
However, declines were observed in certain sectors. The electricity supply sector decreased by 2.6%, mining and quarrying experienced a drop of 1.2%, and the water supply and materials recovery sector saw a decrease of 0.9%.
