The upgrade of IMF’s forecast for Cyprus’ growth rate is a vote of confidence, Government Spokesman Konstantinos Letymbiotis said in a tweet on X.
Noting that the International Monetary Fund has upgraded its forecast for Cyprus’ growth rate for 2024 to 3.3%, from 2.7% in its April forecast, Letymbiotis said that Cyprus is projected to have the third highest growth rate among eurozone countries for 2024.
