The Meteorological Department has issued a new yellow weather alert warning of isolated heavy thunderstorms valid for Tuesday.
The warning, issued on Monday afternoon, said it is valid from 1100 on Tuesday until 1900 the same day.
Isolated heavy thunderstorms are expected to affect the area at times with rain rates expected to range between 35-50 millimetres per hour. Hail is also likely to fall.
