Greek Minister of Culture and Sports, Lina Mendoni, will pay Cyprus a two-day visit, starting Tuesday, October 18, following an invitation by Deputy Minister of Culture, Yiannis Toumazis.
The two officials will meet on Tuesday afternoon at the Deputy Ministry of Culture, to discuss further deepening the collaboration of the two countries in their areas of interest, through mutual exchanges and activities. Earlier on, Mendoni will visit the Cyprus Museum in Nicosia.
On Wednesday, October 19, Toumazis will show the Greek Minister an educational area depicting a refugee camp in Achna and afterwards they will meet with Famagusta Mayor in Deryneia. Then, they will visit “Thalassa” Museum in Ayia Napa and will make statements for the press.
Mendoni will also meet with House of Representatives President, Annita Demetriou, and the first lady of the Republic of Cyprus.
