Foreign Minister Constantinos Kombos will participate in the EU Foreign Affairs Council on Monday, which will deal, among other things, with the situation in the Middle East and Ukraine.
According to a statement by the Foreign Ministry, Kombos travels to Brussels on Sunday.
As stated, the Council’s agenda will include the situation in the Middle East, the ongoing Russian aggression against Ukraine, as well as digital diplomacy, while the Foreign Ministers will also have an informal exchange of views with the President of the European Investment Bank Nadia Calviño during a working lunch.
It is added that on the sidelines of the Council’s proceedings, Kombos will have contacts with his counterparts.
After the Council meeting, the Minister will inaugurate a photographic exhibition on the 50 years of Turkish invasion and occupation, consisting of a unique collection of photographs from the Press and Information Office Archive, at the Permanent Representation of the Republic of Cyprus to the EU, the statement
