Nicosia: Regional developments and issues concerning trilateral cooperation were at the center of a telephone conversation between Minister of Foreign Affairs, Constantinos Kombos, and Greece's Minister of Foreign Affairs, George Gerapetritis, on Friday. Kombos also engaged in a separate conversation with his Egyptian counterpart, Badr Abdelatty, discussing regional developments and bilateral cooperation between Cyprus and Egypt.
According to Cyprus News Agency, Kombos took to X to confirm his discussion with Greek Foreign Minister George Gerapetritis as part of their ongoing coordination. The dialogue concentrated on current regional developments and issues of trilateral cooperation.
In a subsequent post, Kombos revealed a separate substantial conversation with Egypt's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Badr Abdelatty. They delved into recent developments in the broader Middle East region, including the Eastern Mediterranean, and discussed the bilateral partnership between Cyprus and Egypt, with a focus on the energy sector. Both ministers agreed to maintain close communication moving forward.
