Dubai: The first repatriation flight from Dubai is scheduled for today, transporting 180 passengers to Cyprus.
According to Cyprus News Agency, a Cyprus Airways aircraft departed from Larnaca airport at 7:30 a.m. and was expected to reach Dubai by 11:45 a.m. (Cyprus time). The Airbus A320-214 is slated to return 180 people to Cyprus later in the afternoon.
The available information suggests that there are around 700 Cypriots currently in Dubai. Officials anticipate that two additional repatriation flights will occur in the coming days.
