ISTANBUL: European stock exchanges closed with gains on Tuesday.
The STOXX Europe 600, which includes around 90% of the market capitalization of the European market in 17 countries, was up 3.07 points, or 0.63%, to finish at 486.76.
The UK’s FTSE 100 as the best performer of the day, rising 68 points, or 0.9%, to close at 7,681.
Germany’s DAX 30 rose 129 points, or 0.76%, to finish at 17,033, while France’s CAC 40 added 49 points, or 0.65%, to almost 7,639.
Italy’s FTSE MIB increased nearly 164 points, or 0.53%, to end the session at 31,116.
Spain’s IBEX 35 was up 61 points, or 0.62%, to finish the second trading day of the week at 10,003.
