Ankara: The end of terrorism will raise hopes and bring new momentum to the region, Trkiye's President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has said. He made these remarks during a special programme in Ankara commemorating Trkiye's August 30 Victory Day, which celebrates the 1922 battle that halted the Greek advance in western Anatolia, ultimately leading to the establishment of the Republic of Trkiye. Erdogan expressed that Trkiye is at a pivotal moment to start a new chapter after enduring significant challenges. He emphasized the country's determination to seize this opportunity and further strengthen cooperation with its neighbors and regions sharing cultural and historical ties. In a message to those attempting to provoke Trkiye, Erdogan advised revisiting history.
