Limassol: Over 10,000 fans filled the stands of the renovated Spyros Kyprianou Sports Center on the weekend of August 9-10 for the four games of the ECOMMBX Cup. The event, hosted in Limassol, offered the Cypriot public unique moments of high-level basketball and wrote a new golden page in the sporting history of the country, until the next one.

According to Cyprus News Agency, from an organizational point of view, the ECOMMBX Cup ran at a very high level, with hospitality, facilities, security, spectator services functioning effectively, offering an experience worthy of the demands of an international event. The stadium access system was also tested, with important conclusions being drawn.

At the same time, the organisers took note of any mistakes and omissions, as the ECOMMBX Cup was a test event and a major rehearsal for FIBA EuroBasket 2025, which will be held from 28 August to 4 September at the Spyros Kyprianou Sports Center.
