The Minister of Education, Sports and Youth Athena Michaelidou is travelling to Bucharest Monday for an official visit, during which she will have bilateral contacts with her counterpart Ligia Deca and will sign a bilateral program for cultural, educational and scientific cooperation.
The Minister will also visit the Bucharest Greek School ‘Athena’ and hold a meeting with the President of the Greek minority in Romania Dragos Gabriel Zisopoulos.
Michaelidou will also have meetings with the academic staff and students from the Department of Classical Philology and Modern Greek Studies of the University of Bucharest.
She returns home October 23.
