Nicosia: Cyprus deeply values the enduring and continuously evolving strategic partnership with France, a strong EU and Mediterranean partner, particularly ahead of Cyprus’ Presidency of the Council of the EU, Deputy Minister for European Affairs Marilena Raouna said in a post on X.
According to Cyprus News Agency, Raouna referred to a meeting between President Nikos Christodoulides and French Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Jean-No«l Barrot during Barrot’s visit to Nicosia. The discussions focused on bilateral relations and the enhanced strategic partnership under way. They also addressed key European and regional issues, including the Middle East, Ukraine, and the Cyprus question.
