New delhi: Deputy Minister of Research, Innovation, and Digital Policy, Dr. Nicodemos Damianou, is embarking on a two-day working visit to India, accompanied by a business delegation.
According to Cyprus News Agency, during the visit, Damianou is scheduled to engage in a series of meetings with government officials and business leaders. The primary objective is to enhance cooperation and fortify economic and business relations between Cyprus and India, focusing on technology and innovation sectors.
Damianou is also set to participate in the ICC Global Business Summit 2025, where he will address a session dedicated to Cyprus and its bilateral relations with India. Additionally, he will participate in a plenary session of the Conference, emphasizing the strategic significance of Cyprus-India cooperation at geopolitical, regional, and economic levels.
The Deputy Minister’s itinerary includes visits to the National Stock Exchange of India and the Indian Institute of Technology. These visits aim to facilitate the exchange of expertise and explore collaboration opportunities in technology, innovation, and investment.
Dr. Nicodemos Damianou will conclude his visit and return to Cyprus on September 20, as noted in the press release.
