The Deputy Minister for European Affairs, Marilena Raouna, departs for Brussels on Monday where on Tuesday, 20th February, she will participate in the General Affairs Council that will start preparations for the European Council meeting on 21 and 22 March 2024. A Presidency press release said that as part of the Article 7(1) TEU procedure, the Council will take stock of developments regarding the rule of law in Poland. Prior to the Council's proceedings, Ministers will attend a working breakfast, hosted by the Chairwoman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Borjana Kriston, during which they will be informed of Bosnia and Herzegovina's degree of compliance with the criteria for accession to the European Union.
