Cyprus Defence Ministry announced on Saturday that it will propose at the next meeting of the Council of Ministers Lieutenant General Georgios Tsitsikostas as the new National Guard Chief, to succeed Lt. General Demokritos Zervakis whose term expires.
Zervakis completed a 3.5-year term as the head of Cyprus’ Armed Forces, the Ministry said praising his contribution to the restructuring and upgrading of the capabilities of the National Guard.
