President of Cyprus Nicos Anastasiades said on Sunday that the day following the parliamentary elections must be characterised by an increased responsibility towards the country, adding that he intends to convene a meeting with the leaders of the new Parliament`s political parties to seek together the roadmap for the future of the country.
In statements at the Presidential Palace, the President stressed that the day after the elections “should be characterised by an increased responsibility demonstrated by everyone towards our homeland.”
The President added that he intends to invite the leaders of the political parties of the new Parliament to seek together, “in a climate of consensus and understanding, the roadmap for the future of our country”.
