Nicosia: The Department of Meteorology has reported the latest weather temperatures for Cyprus, indicating notably low temperatures across various regions. From the data collected between 20:00 of the previous day until the time of reporting, several cities experienced a drop in temperature, with high humidity levels contributing to the cold conditions.
According to Cyprus News Agency, Nicosia (Athalassa) recorded a high of 11 degrees Celsius and a low of 1 degree Celsius, with humidity at 34%. Larnaka Airport experienced a slightly warmer high of 14 degrees and a low of 3 degrees, with humidity reaching 38%. In Limassol, two different locations reported temperatures: the New Port noted a high of 15 degrees and a low of 3 degrees, while the Municipal Garden recorded a high of 12.5 degrees and a low of 2.5 degrees.
Pafos Airport matched Limassol New Port with a high of 15 degrees and a low of 4 degrees, maintaining a humidity level of 34%. Frenaros reported a high of 13 degrees and a low of 3 degrees, with a higher humidity level of 45%. Prodromos, however, faced the coldest conditions, with temperatures plunging to a high of 0 degrees and a low of -5 degrees, alongside a humidity level of 57%. Polis Pafos recorded a high of 14 degrees and a low of 3 degrees, with a humidity of 34%.
These temperatures reflect the current weather patterns affecting Cyprus, as the island continues to experience chilly conditions.
