Cyprus Stock Exchange Sees Decline Across Major Indices

Nicosia: The Cyprus Stock Exchange (CSE) concluded its latest trading session with notable declines across most of its major indices. The CSE All Share Index closed with significant changes in various sectors, reflecting a challenging day for investors.

According to Cyprus News Agency, the FTSE/CySE 20 Index recorded a value of 172.950, marking a decrease of 0.840%. The traded value for this index reached 2,468,123.820 euros. The Main Market Index also experienced a decline, closing at 231.020, which signifies a drop of 1.070%. Its traded value was reported at 2,438,337.670 euros.

The Investment Companies Market Index showed a slight increase, closing at 2,886.270 with a marginal gain of 0.030%, and a traded value of 86,653.370 euros. Meanwhile, the CSE General Index fell by 1.210%, reaching a value of 288.410 with a traded value of 2,490,268.410 euros.

The Hotels Index suffered the most significant drop of the day, falling by 3.950% to close at 1,898.270 with a traded value of 1,283.350 euros. The Alternative Market Index also declined, ending at 1,919.800, down by 1.320%, with a traded value of 51,930.740 euros.
