Nicosia: The Cyprus Department of Meteorology has released a forecast for the sea area surrounding Cyprus, detailing weather conditions expected from noon on May 4, 2025, until noon on May 5, 2025. The forecast covers an 8-kilometer radius seawards from the coast, with winds measured on the Beaufort scale and all times reported in local time.
According to Cyprus News Agency, atmospheric pressure at the time of the forecast issuance was recorded at 1011 hPa. The area is currently experiencing weak low-pressure conditions, leading to partly cloudy and locally cloudy skies in the evening. Isolated showers and thunderstorms are expected over eastern regions. During the night and into the following morning, the weather is predicted to remain mainly fine, although there will be periods of locally increased cloud coverage.
Visibility is generally good, though it may reduce to moderate levels during showers. The sea surface temperature is recorded at 19°C. The forecast indicates no warnings for the period.
