Nicosia: The Cyprus Department of Meteorology has issued a forecast for the sea area surrounding Cyprus, predicting mainly fine weather conditions with some localized cloud coverage over the period from 1200 14/10/2025 to 1200 15/10/2025. The region is currently experiencing weak low pressure, with atmospheric pressure recorded at 1017 hPa.
According to Cyprus News Agency, the forecast covers an area extending 8 kilometers seawards. Visibility is expected to remain good, and the sea surface temperature is recorded at 26°C. No weather warnings have been issued for this period.
The west coast will experience winds ranging from west to northwest at a Beaufort scale of 3 to 4 during the afternoon, shifting to northwest to northeast at 3 during the night. By morning, winds will be variable, moving southwest to northwest, with sea conditions described as smooth to slight throughout.
On the south coast, winds will blow from south to southwest at 3 to 4 in the afternoon, later shifting locally to southwest to west at 4. During the night, winds will change to northwest to north at 3, occasionally reaching northwest 3 to 4. Morning winds will become variable, later turning east to southeast, with sea conditions remaining smooth to slight.
For the east coast, afternoon winds will come from south to southwest at 3. Overnight, they will transition to west to northwest at 3. By morning, they will become variable, later moving northeast to east, with smooth to slight sea conditions.
The north coast will see winds from southwest to northwest at 3, locally reaching 3 to 4 in the afternoon. At night, winds will shift to southeast to southwest at 3. Morning winds will be variable before turning northwest, with the state of the sea remaining smooth to slight.
