Nicosia: The Cyprus Department of Meteorology has released its forecast for the sea area surrounding Cyprus, predicting mainly fine weather conditions for the upcoming period. Despite the presence of a seasonal low-pressure system and a warm air mass influencing the area, the overall weather remains favorable.
According to Cyprus News Agency, the forecast period spans from 0600 on August 11, 2025, to 0600 on August 12, 2025. During this time, the atmospheric pressure is recorded at 1006 hectopascals. While there is an initial risk of locally increased low cloud coverage, particularly over the western and northern coasts, visibility is expected to remain good throughout the forecast period.
The sea surface temperature is measured at a warm 28°C, contributing to the pleasant weather conditions. Importantly, no warnings have been issued for this period, indicating stable weather with no significant disturbances expected to affect the region.
