Nicosia: The Cyprus Department of Meteorology has issued a forecast for the sea area of Cyprus, indicating the presence of weak low pressure that is currently affecting the region. The forecast covers an area extending 8 kilometers seawards and is valid from 1200 on May 1, 2025, until 1200 on May 2, 2025.
According to Cyprus News Agency, the weather is expected to be partly cloudy, with isolated showers and thunderstorms occurring at times. Visibility is anticipated to be generally good, but it may become moderate to poor during showers.
The atmospheric pressure at the time of the forecast’s issuance was recorded at 1011 hPa, and the sea surface temperature is 19°C. No warnings have been issued for the forecast period.
